PROCESS OF ADMISSION & TEACHING_METHODOLOGY

Play Group :

Rolling Admission after Registratnon : Children barely out of their infancy at the two and half+age are granted admission to paly group freedom is provided to do anything they wish without any restriction. They pickup some oral and stroke making skill through rhymes, stories and play way activities.

Kidergarten ( Lower and Upper ) :

Since the aim of this school is to build a strong foundation, children are admitted to two years of k ndergarten. Lower at three and half+ age the fundamentals such as learning values like patience, co-operation and responsibilities and opening up to senses to differentiate colours, shapes, size and upper at four and half+ age self-study is fostered through a slightly more formulized pattern of text book & note books and through teacher-student interaction.

Class 1st to Xth:

Admission granted after registration & qualifying the entrance test subject teacher each their own specialities and a lot of emphasis is given to creative subjects literary & cultural activities and value based research work, with an aim to develop an understanding concepts of the various subject offered. When you enroll at R.P.C.S., you become a part of this heritage and this will be a right place for you to grow and excel. Remember, The importance of these formative years for a young mind like you, can not be over emphasized. ADMISSION DETAILS

Play Group :

1.Children are admitted to the school the age of two and half+.

2. Child's name may be registered in advance in the year in which admission in sought registration form 1s available at the school office.

3. The registration fee is Rs. 250/- per child. Registration done for a particular year is not transferable to another year. Fresh registration is necessary if the child is required to be considered for an other year. Payment of registration fee does not mean guarantee of admission in the school.

4. Admission are rante ยท en test an a personal interview with the child and also the parents.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

1 Original Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation for admission form Nursery to Std. 1st.

2. For admission to Std. 2nd onwards school leaving certificate and report card of previous school is essential.

3. Four Passport size photograph.

  • Admission of a child to a school will be treated as a acceptance of all school reules (as in forced or amended from time to time) by the parents/ guardians. Rules are subjected to change at the direction of the school management.
  • Name and date of birth as recorded in the previous school leaving certificate will be, considered final. Parents/ Guardians must ensure that these entries are corrected to avoid any problem later.
  • Right to admission is reserved.
  • SCHOOL ASESSMENT

    Our student are regularly assessed so as to monitor the progress of the class as a whole and that of the individual student. This allows us to target those students with specific needs or diff culties and to provide them with remedial help us and when ever required.

    Our teachers willingly provide extra classes to those with academic need. Our aim is to ersure that each student has the support required to fulfill his academic Potential and that s1..1ch help should be provided before the student realizes that hfi is in difficulty.

    Aclearly Planned day allows curriculum time for each subject with teachers Providing deta'led notes and guidance in the classroom. The day also allows each student adequate time for se f-study and individual work outside the classroom both through an organized evening prep and through quiet times when work can be pursued on a more voluntary basis.

    Trroughout the year the newly introduced continuous and comprehensive evaluation (cce) is set to assess a student's progress in each module studied in every subject through a variety of activities. This allows our teachers to administer tests and evaluation through formative assessment in multiple intelligence of the students and encourage their strengths and supplement areas of concern with appropriate support system. In addition, we organize a formal set of examinations each term.

    SCHOOL RULES REGULATIONS

  • A Student must carry his School Diary to school everyday. It must have his/hir photograph, with identity information complete and signed by parents.
  • Students who come to school by their own transport should reach at school before the bell rings.
  • Students should be neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on every working day. Students who are sloppily dressed or not in uniform will be severely dealt with.
  • Non Sikh Boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.
  • Girls should plait their hair if it is below the shoulders. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned.
  • Students are expected to respect the property of others. This includes respect for school property. No student should damage any school fruniture, write or draw any thing on walls, furniture or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the Class Teacher orto the Principal. Any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it.
  • The School is not responsible for goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles (like Watches or Cell Phones, I-Pods, Cameras etc.) to school.
  • Students are not allowed to wear any jewellery to school (No Chains, Rings, Bangles, Bracelets). Girls may wear one pair of small ear rings or studs only.
  • Students who come to school in the care of servants should never leave before the servant arrives. In case of delay, they should report to the school office. Those who go home alone should be prompt in returning straight home.
  • Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul language is a punishable offence.
  • The school reserves the right to suspend or to take strict disciplinary action against a student whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
  • Parents and Guardians may not visit their wards or Teachers in the classrooms without the permission of the Principal.
  • As far as possible, once a child has come to school, he/she should not be asked to come home on half day leave or leave from any period, unless it is an emergency
  • R.P.C.S. provides education form Nursery to Class X. Therefore it is expected that juniors should be treated with love and affection while the Juniors show all respect to their seniors.
  • No students shall indulge in any of the following practices namely.
      1. Spitting in or near the school building.
      2. Disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property.
      3. Smoking.
      4. Any form of Gambling.
      5. Rowdism and Rude behaviour.
      6. Use of Violence in any form.
      7. Casteism orcommunilism.
  • The observance of rules of discipline of the school and good behaviour is an essential condition to a student's continuance in the school. In case a student violates the school rules or indulges in any form of indiscipline, strict action like expulsion/suspension/ rustication shall be taken against t he students.
